Congratulations to the Powerball player from Arkansas who won Christmas Eve's drawing for the game's $1.817 billion jackpot. I bought a ticket but didn't win. That would be a nice way to ring in the new year but alas, it is back to work tomorrow. There are better odds of winning the SupperLotto and the tickets are cheaper. $500,000,000 after lump sum and taxes would be nice, but a couple million would be nice too.
In other news, MTV has officially shut down their music stations. I did not know they still had music stations but apparently they did but not anymore. Does this mean they are keeping their other channels on? What does MTV even have for programming now? Are they still doing reality shows? I had to look it up for the link above and it looks like it is a colleaction of shows they use to run. Or maybe they are new. I don't know. Whatever.
